It’s been a little while since I wrote a little bit of back-story behind any of my drawings. So I thought after drawing this Peacekeeper from The Hunger Games, it’d be a good time to start again 🙂
Mockinjay Part 1
I had only seen the first two movies until just a few days ago when I watched Mockingjay Part 1 with my lovely fiancée. Relative to the first two movies, it was awesome. Of course different people have their preferences, but I really liked the third.
It had such more.. rebellion. Which is the best part.
Why Draw A Peacekeeper?
In one part of the movie the camera zoomed in closely on the mask of one of the peacekeepers while leading up to a really intense scene. I don’t want to spoil anything for those who haven’t seen it, but basically the scene ended up making me want to draw a peacekeeper. And besides, they remind me of Star Wars Stormtroopers, and who doesn’t love Stormtroopers?
I used an awesome new fine-tip ballpoint pen that I bought from my local art store to create it, and it only took me about an hour and forty-five minutes to draw. That might sound like a long time, but if I had made this on regular sized paper, this would have taken AGES.
Here’s the video of it being made 🙂
My next project that I’m working on is actually a drawing of Luke Skywalker for a good friend of mine. Sadly, it’s not going as well as I had hoped, and It may end up getting pushed back further. I WILL get it finished, though… eventually.
Thanks for taking the time to read 🙂 And have a great day
