If you’re anything like me, you were hoping to find Amazon Prime Day art supply deals available this year for artists like myself. But instead, you ended up being shown expensive TVs, security systems, and *checks notes*… doorbells??? Really? I thought artists would be looking for a new mechanical pencil to try or maybe some acrylic paints. Yeah, I’m talking to you, ArtNews.com. I’m not mad, just… disappointed.
Amazon Prime Day 2025 is HERE, and I see awesome deals on art supplies available from July 8th through the 11th. As a side note, shouldn’t it be called Prime Days with an “s” now that they have more than a day? What about “Prime Week” or “Prime Time”? Ooh, “Prime Time,” I like that.
Anyways. It’s here, and you don’t want to miss it. As an artist, this is a great time to get some awesome deals on art supplies you’ve been holding off on.
Remember, though, that in order to get access to Prime Day deals, you need to be an Amazon Prime member. Prime Day is just one of the many benefits of Amazon Prime, and it’s very easy to get your money’s worth if you’re an avid Amazon shopper.
Here are (in my opinion) the best Prime Day art supply deals for 2025!

Prime Day Deals for Digital Artists
I’m fairly new to the digital art realm, but it’s a huge market, and some phenomenal deals are going on for visual artists you might be interested in:
Illustration Software Deals

Everyone is a fan of free, but free doesn’t always cut it if you’re looking for the best. While I’m partial to Krita (free illustration software), it has its limitations. If you can afford it, Adobe was by far the best illustration software deal on Prime Day this year:
- Adobe Creative Cloud Full Collection | 12-Month Access
$659.88$394.99 (-40%)- 12 months of the full collection of Adobe Creative Cloud at 40% off??? That’s a STEAL. This includes over 20 Adobe apps, including Photoshop. If you can afford it, this is definitely a deal you don’t want to pass up. Photoshop is rated by most as THE software for digital artists. However, if you only want Photoshop, then you can get their Creative Cloud Photography Plan for a third of the cost.
I didn’t see any other illustration software available with the Prime Day filter on Amazon. At least, none worth mentioning. But that’s ok! Because if you can afford Adobe, that’s all you need! And if you’re looking for free, Krita is 100% my recommendation!
Drawing Tablet Deals
What’s a digital artist without a drawing tablet? Well, actually, you can technically still draw with a mouse, but these will make it much easier!
- 23.8″ XP-Pen Artist24 Drawing Tablet:
$569.99$398.99 (-30%)- “Holy smokes, man, I thought you were a starving artist??” I am… (weeps) I don’t have this, but I wish I did, and this was the best Prime Day deal I could find on Amazon for a drawing tablet last year! While I don’t personally have one, I would love to have a drawing tablet like this as opposed to one without a screen (I have the Medium Wacom One, which you can get for $59.95, but it isn’t a Prime Deal).
- Huion KAMVAS 20 Drawing Tablet
$449.00$314.30 (-30%)- I know I know, this is another wicked expensive one for us starving artists. But I wanted to include another top-notch option for those of you who are looking for something just a tad less expensive than the first. This has an unbeatable 4.5-star rating on Amazon and over 1,700 reviews. Personally, I prefer the Wacom brand, but this is a massive 19.5-inch drawing tablet with excellent reviews. I had to add it to the list.
- HUION Inspiroy H1060P
$66.99$41.99 (-37%)- This tablet is going to be your best bang for your buck, with an average rating of 4.4 stars and over 5,200 reviews on Amazon. It’s one of the least expensive but quality drawing tablet deals that I could find during the Prime Day sale.
Prime Day Art Supply Deals for Traditional Artists
Traditional art is my JAM. I have a gargantuan box of traditional art supplies, and I probably haven’t even used half of them (yet), haha. But I’m glad to have them! Traditional art will always be my go-to. It’s where I started and where I spent most of my learning.
Alcohol Marker Set Deals
Prime Day is a great time to get yourself some alcohol markers, since some brands can cost several dollars per marker. Starving artists can’t much handle those kind of prices, so I found some excellent deals to save you time (and money).
- Ohuhu Alcohol Markers 168-Color Double Tipped
$199.99$127.99 (-36%)- If you’ve been to my site before, you’ve probably seen that I recommend Ohuhu as the top cheaper alternative to Copic markers. Don’t get me wrong, Copic is a good brand. They’re just overpriced. Ohuhu is just as good of a marker set and for a much better deal. In fact, Copic doesn’t even have any sales on Amazon right now, so it would cost you almost 4 times as much to buy Copic right now (yes, seriously).
- Prismacolor Alcohol Marker Set 72 Count
$187.73$129.99 (-31%)- Ohuhu, in my opinion, is your best bet. However, if you’re into spending more money for a brand you’re more familiar with, such as Prismacolor, they have a 72-pack of alcohol markers for 31% off this Prime Day.
Multi-Media Set Deals
If you’re just getting started into art or looking for a Prime Day art supply deal for a friend, these would be a great choice!
- Sunnyglade 145 Piece Deluxe Art Set
$25.98$22.08 (-15%)- 24 colored pencils, 24 oil pastels, 24 watercolor cakes, 2×8 well palletes, 2 painting papers, 2 sketch pencils, 2 paintbrushes, 1 pencil sharpener, 1 ruler, 1 eraser, and 60 crayons
- iBayam Art Supplies Wooden Art Set
$38.34$28.49 (-26%)- 24 colored pencils, 24 oil pastels, 24 watercolor cakes, 2×8 well palletes, 2 drawing pads, 1 coloring book, 2 sketch pencils, 2 paintbrushes, 10 sandpaper block, 1 pencil sharpener, 1 ruler, 1 eraser, and 60 crayons
Drawing Set Deals
Drawing is my comfort zone. I’ll paint and try out other art when I’m able, but when I want to just relax and create some art, drawing is always where I go. A quick visit to my Daily Drawings page will show you that. Here are the Prime Day art supply kits I found this year for those of you who need a good set or are looking for a Prime Day gift for an artist who primarily draws.
- iBayam 78-Pack Drawing Set
$19.99$18.99 (-5%)- This Prime Day drawing set includes 12 graphite pencils (2H, 3H, 4H, 5H, HB, B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B, 8B), 12 colored pencils, 12 watercolor Pencils, 12 charcoal Pencils, 3 white charcoal pencils, 12 metallic pencils, 1 sandpaper block, 1 pencil extender, 1 paint brush, 1 sharpener, 1 art knife, 1 eraser pencil, 3 blending paper stumps, 1 refillable water brush pen, 1 vinyl eraser and 1 Travel Case.
- Prina 81 Pack Drawing Set
$27.99$21.24 (-24%)- 12 rainbow-colored pencils, 21 oil-based pencils, 15 graphite pencils, 12 watercolor pencils, 12 metallic pencils, and 3 charcoal pencils, a 3-color sketch pad, 1 coloring book, a flower drawing tutorial, and a portable travel case..
Colored Pencil Set Deals
You can create incredible artwork with colored pencils if you have the right set. And this Prime Day has some fantastic deals to take advantage of.
- 72 ct Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, Soft Core
$74.99$48.62 (-35%)- If you know anything about colored pencils, you know that Prismacolor is THE brand to use if you’re serious about your artwork. Well, this Prime Day has both their 72-count and 150-count sets on a Prime Day deal.
- 24-ct STAEDTLER Colored Pencils
$7.50$6.93- While the STAEDTLER colored pencils pale in comparison to the Prismacolor, we all know that finances have been tight over the past several years. Especially with tariffs impacting supply lines, regardless of your opinion on them. If you’re looking for a decent brand to get started in that won’t break the bank, this is it.
Art Pen Set Deals
If you’ve never used fineliner pens, you’re missing out. These things are excellent for artwork, and are particularly great for comic-style artwork. I’ve used them in a variety of my pieces, which you can see in my main gallery. Mostly for creating bold outlines or my abstract doodles. ANYWAY, the point is that you should get a set while they’re on sale if you’ve never used them, or if you need to restock!
- SAKURA Pigma Micron Fineliner Pens 10pk
$20.99$17.83 (-15%)- This is my go-to brand for fineliner pens, and whenever they’re on sale, I pick up a few more just to keep them stocked. Basically, any artwork you see on this site that uses fineliner pens (as of this writing) is exclusively SAKURA. They’re easily the top pick for artists everywhere. If you have the cash and want an even better deal, they have a Pack of 72 SAKURA Fineliners for $1.57 each.
- XWT Micro Fineliner Drawing Art Pens 12pk
$9.99$7.59 (-24%)- If you can’t dish out the cash for SAKURA, this is actually a surprisingly good brand to bet on. While I haven’t personally used their fineliners, they have an impressive 4.5-star average rating with over 200 reviews and counting. Now that I’m looking at this, I might have to buy some, haha. I might add a dedicated review page for these in the near future.
Mechanical Pencil Deals
Literally, just typing “Mechanical Pencil” gets me excited. Yeah, weird. I know. But I love them. I probably have 40 more mechanical pencils than I need, but you better believe I’m still buying another one this Prime Day.
- rOtring 800 Mechanical Pencil 0.5mm
$49.99$34.62 (-31%)- 31% off? Of a rOtring? It’s too good to be true… The rOtring 600 is my top pick on my “Best Mechanical Pencils for Sketching” blog post, and for good reason. The 800 is easily just as good. This also would make an incredible gift for an artist if that’s what you’re looking for! This has an incredibly sturdy build and feels phenomenal to hold. Of course, that’s based on opinion. But it’s my opinion that it’ll be your opinion too, haha.
- Pentel Twist-Erase III Mechanical Pencil 0.7mm 10pk
$11.50$6.29 (-32%)- Oh man, the second pick on my best mechanical pencils list is on a good sale too. This is actually about 20 cents cheaper than it was last Prime Day. I could go into all the pros/cons here, but I feel like it’d be crowding the page a bit. If you want to know why I recommend this and the rOtring 600, you can head over to my Best Mechanical Pencils for Sketching post.
Acrylic Paint Set Deals
While acrylic paint isn’t my first choice of medium, it’s incredibly popular among artists, and Amazon knows this. This Prime Day doesn’t have quite as many deals on top brands as I was hoping for, but here are a few items that are a great deal:
- ARTEZA Metallic Acrylic Paint, Set of 24 Colors
$41.99$19.99 (-52%)- I was really hoping for Liquitex to have a Prime Day deal this year, but I didn’t find anything notable other than a few random items that didn’t even seem to be that great of a deal. However, ARTEZA is still a good choice, and if you’re interested in trying metallic acrylic paint, this would be a good buy.
- MEEDEN Heavy Body Acrylic Paint Sets, 100 Colors
$59.95$37.46 (-38%)- MEEDEN is a reputable brand in the art world, and if you can grab these on a great deal, I recommend snagging them while you can!
Watercolor Paint Set Deals
- ARTEZA Watercolor Paint Set, 12 half pan
$19.19$13.53 (-29%)- Also a little lacking in the watercolor deals for Prime Day, it seems. Of the many types of paints available to artists, watercolor is my personal favorite. Something I discovered pretty quickly is that the quality of your paint can have a significant impact on the outcome of your paintings. This was the only deal that stood out to me as a decent buy for a good brand. Any others are either not technically Prime Day, not a great deal, or not a top-notch brand.
Prime Day Deals on Artist Desks
Regardless of if you’re primarily a digital artist or traditional, we all could use a comfortable desk. Fortunately, Amazon is offering some great deals on both drafting table desks or L-shaped desks (my personal favorite) that you can take advantage of this Prime Day.
Drafting Table Deals
I don’t have a drafting table personally, but it would likely be incredibly helpful for my back, since I’m prone to bend improperly as I draw on my flat desk. If you’re noticing the same issue, a drafting table is the solution!
- VECELO Drafting Table Art Desk with Stool
$124.99$95.44 (-24%)- This drafting table comes with its own stool, but you can, of course, use an adjustable chair. This is my top pick due to the large, nearly 40″ wide and 23″ length drawing surface. This is perfect to larger projects, so you’re not scrambling to keep your paper from bending off the edges of a desk.
- Tribesigns Drafting Table with Storage Drawers
$219.99$152.99 (-30%)- This desk technically has a larger working area, but only when the drafting table is flat with the desk. The actual width of the drafting table area isn’t made incredibly clear. It appears to be roughly the same width as the VECELO desk, but it’s definitely not the same length. It offers more storage space, though, which is a big win for artists
L-Shaped Art Desk Deals
L-shaped desks are my preference for a few reasons, but mainly, I like having my PC on one section and the other side available for artwork. It’s also much easier to store things when the desk is just bigger overall. However, you need a good-sized workspace to be able to fit an L-shaped desk.
- AODK L-Shaped Desk with Drawers & Power Outlets
$209.99$159.99 (-24%)- This is the perfect example of why I prefer L-shaped desks as an artist. This desk has a ton of working space, and is customizable if you want to connect the two sections in different ways. If offer 6 drawers, which is excellent for storing art supplies, and a section underneath where you could store a PC tower if you have one. At 24% off, it’s an excellent deal.
- WALKINGDESK Reversible Standing L-Shaped Desk
$269.99$215.99 (-20%)- This one is a bit more expensive, but I personally have a standing desk and recommend it to those who can afford it if you’re going to be at it full-time. Sitting at a desk full-time actually increases your risk of heart disease, blood clots, and musculoskeletal problems. Even standing for a few hours per day can help, and a standing desk is a good way to help with that. The biggest downside is, of course, the lack of storage space. This would require separate storage solutions for your art supplies.
More to Come!
Prime Day offers thousands of art supply deals, and I’ll be updating this page as I find more worth sharing. If I find more items that might be noteworthy, I’ll add them here!
