Cute Christmas Drawings

You’re looking for cute and easy Christmas drawings, you say? Well, look no further!… OK, you can look further if you want to since I can’t guarantee you’ll pick one of these. It’s just a figure of speech.

Anyway. It seems my Halloween drawings were a hit, so I thought maybe I’d do the same for Christmas! The goal here was to have a couple of easy “standard” Christmas drawings and throw in a few fun ones you hopefully haven’t seen before.

So, without further adieu, here are some quick and easy Christmas drawings to try this year.

Materials Used

1 – A Christmas Cactus Wearing a Santa Hat

I’ve been fond of cactus art lately, so I had to include this holiday cactus drawing in this post. Why on earth are cactuses SO ADORABLE.

2 – A Christmas Cat with a Scarf and Hat

Hey, that heading has a sort of jingle to it. Seems fitting for Christmas! I drew a black cat in one of my other posts and ended up liking him enough to add him again… but with a hat and scarf. He’s not too happy about it.

3 – A Simple Christmas Tree

Since we’re going for “easy” Christmas drawings, I decided to try something a little out-of-the-box compared to what I typically do for Christmas trees.

“What if,” I asked myself, “What if Christmas doesn’t come from a store? What if Christmas means a little bit more?” No, wait, that’s the Grinch. Whatever, here’s my simple Christmas tree drawing.

4 – A Happy Snowman

How could I post a “Christmas drawings” article without a snowman? Since I live in a desert area, snow is rare. But, I cherish the memories of playing in the snow and building snowmen when I lived in a colder climate. Ths snowman drawing brought be back to those days, and I hope it brings you some joy to draw it!

5 – A Simple Present

There is nothing incredibly unique about this one, but presents are pretty common in Christmas drawings. So, you could perhaps add it to one of the other holiday drawings you plan to create this Christmas to add a little more cheer!

Easy Christmas Drawing Tip

“Only FIVE drawings on this page? Seriously?” Yeah, sorry about that. I’m a dad, so sometimes free time is hard to come by. I even had to rush through the above ones and tried getting each done in 15 minutes or less. But I do plan on adding more as time goes on!

Before I go, though, let me leave you with a final tip: Make these drawings your own.

I’m totally okay with you just drawing these exactly as-is if you’d like, but art is about more than just copying. Add color. Give the snowman glasses. Change the cat’s expression. Put the gift under the tree. Whatever you’d like! Change something within the drawings to make them yours. You’ll have a better appreciation for your own art if you do.

Well, I hope you enjoyed these quick and easy Christmas drawings, and if you have any other ideas on what you’d like to see next, post them in the comments below or send me a message! Merry Christmas!
